Film Tanpa Film / Film Without Film 
Film Tanpa Film (Film Without Film) is an ongoing project that presents photographs as still images from films that never existed. Accompanied by subtitles or closed captions and the titles of imaginary films, each photograph offers only a fragment of a story that can never be seen in its entirety. The project explores how images generate narratives beyond what they actually show and how viewers fill their gaps with memory, expectation, and imagination. By withholding the film itself, the work shifts attention from what an image contains to what it makes us construct in its absence.
