We Are Everybody Else (2008)
We Are Everybody Else is a series of portrait photographs of a couple wearing latex masks printed with the faces of Reni and Sony, who hired me to create their pre-wedding photo series. Blending intimacy, disguise, and playful ambiguity, the work reflects on identity, performance, and the shifting boundaries between the personal and the constructed image.
POTQTO HEAD Anniversary: Photo Studio Project Instalations (2010)
As part of the anniversary celebration of Potato Head Jakarta, I, along with several artists and photographers, was invited to create a site-specific installation to function as a photo studio for visitors. For this project, I used Lidah Mertua plants (Sansevieria)—known for their ability to purify air and absorb pollutants—to create a garden surrounding a dining table, where visitors could sit and be photographed. The installation explored the relationship between domestic space, nature, and the act of gathering, while offering an immersive setting for participation and image-making.
